  • Q: How can I automatically upgrade the DWP client version?

    A: In the management portal's Accounts tab, check "Automatically Update the DWP." After the update, the computer must be restarted. Note that only 3.x and newer versions of the DWP can be automatically upgraded. If you have 2.x or older installed, you will have to manually update your clients to 3.x before they utilize the automatic update functionality.

  • Q: How do I bypass Web filtering for internal sites?

    A: Web filtering can be bypassed for internal sites two ways:

    1. Enter the site into the plugin bypass, browser exception list, or into your PAC file.
    2. Check the 'Bypass proxy server for local addresses' checkbox in your browser.
  • Q: Why can’t my laptop users access the internet when they go home?

    A: If your remote users are unable to access the Internet, verify that 'Allow Mobile User Access’ is enabled for those users' group(s). Additionally, their laptops need to go through the Webroot proxy while inside the corporate LAN at least once. If this is not possible for some laptops, the Authentication Code needs to be entered in the clients' DWP Credentials. The Authentication Code is found in the management portal's Groups tab.
