Senior Financial Analyst

Webroot is currently hiring for an experienced, results driven Senior Financial Analyst who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced business environment. In this position, we seek a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy growth environment. The Senior Financial Analyst manages all aspects of ongoing financial reporting, including budget to actual expense variance, segment contribution analysis, and sales reporting; as well as, ad hoc financial analysis, including business cases in support of various sales initiatives.  The financial reporting will include all major geographies and all three of Webroot’s business segments (enterprise, online and retail.)

Responsibilities

• Develop operational and financial metrics to measure the various business operations
• Publish Executive Dashboard providing key and actionable numeric and graphic information
• Develop in-depth financial analysis for trends in revenue, cost, pricing and profitability across products, features and business units
• Support the Director of Finance in the company’s budgeting and forecasting process including reporting and analysis
• Create ad-hoc financial models based on a changing environment, new businesses, and needs of Executive Teams
• Report to management on results of operations against budget and forecast
• Continuously update detailed sales forecast data
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decision making, including financial and M&A modeling
• Maintain capital markets and competitor data

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of accounting and/or financial analysis and planning experience
• BS or BA degree in finance or accounting and public accounting experience
• Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving strategic and operation goals
• Strong hands-on experience with dashboards and metrics
• Experience creating budgets, forecasts and monitoring business for updates
• Analytical background in both financial and operational data
• Knowledge of software business models a plus
• Strong experience with budgeting and planning cycles, dealing with an entire company, operating unit or multiple departments
• Expertise using Excel, financial systems (Oracle or other large accounting software) and reporting tools
• High energy, results-oriented achiever, and a team player
• Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment and be willing to “roll-up her/his sleeves” to lead organizational change
• Experience in a start-up environment is desirable
